What we collect
When you create an account we store your name, email address, and — if you add it — your phone number and a profile photo. When you reserve or buy a ticket we store the ticket details (event, tier, quantity, reference code) and a payment record. If you join a waitlist we store the contact details you provide. If you apply to organize events we store your application.
How we use it
We use your information to run the service: showing you your tickets, sending confirmation emails, letting organizers check you in at the door, and processing payments. Organizers of an event you hold a ticket for can see your name and phone number so they can manage attendance. We do not sell your information and we do not run advertising trackers.
Payments
Online payments are processed by Monime, a Sierra Leone payment provider. Your card or mobile-money details go directly to Monime — TikiT never sees or stores them. We keep a record of the transaction (amount, status, reference) to reconcile your ticket.
Where your data lives
Accounts, tickets, and event data are stored with Supabase. Event images are stored with Cloudinary. Confirmation emails are sent through Resend. Each of these providers processes data only on our instructions.
Your choices
You can edit your name, phone number, and photo from your profile at any time. If you want your account and its data deleted, contact us and we will remove it along with any information we are not legally required to keep.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you by email.
