Delete your account

Open the TikiT app and go to the Me tab → Delete account. You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm, because this cannot be undone. Your account is deleted immediately and you are logged out.

If you cannot get into the app — you have lost the device, or you can no longer sign in — email hello@tikitsl.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

• Your name and email address.
• Your push notification token, so the app can no longer notify your device.
• Your name on any tickets you hold and on the order lists those tickets came from.
• Who you follow.
• If you are an organizer, the public contact (WhatsApp, phone or email) and the logo on your organizer profile.
• Your login itself. The account stops working and you cannot sign back in.

Your tickets stop working at the same moment. They will not be admitted at an event door, including tickets somebody transferred to you. If you have a ticket to an event you still intend to attend, transfer it to someone else before you delete your account.

Records of orders and payments are kept, with your personal details removed from them. We keep them because they are financial records: they are what organizers are paid from, and what a payment dispute or a tax question is settled against. After deletion these records are no longer linked to a name or an email address.

The same applies to the ticket records themselves. The ticket stops working, but the record that it was sold does not disappear from the organizer's takings.

If you have reported an event, that report is also kept as a moderation record, still linked to your account after it has been anonymized.

You cannot delete your account while you still have a published event that has not happened yet. People are holding tickets to it, and the money for it has not been paid out. Cancel those events, or hand them over to another organizer, and then delete your account. The app will tell you which events are in the way.
